In 2005, I departed from several years steering the marketing ship at DaimlerChrysler’s GEM division and took a global marketing management role at Microsoft overseeing training and certification program marketing for their newly branded Microsoft Dynamics line of products.
Over the course of a year, I worked closely with multiple stakeholders across the globe to transform the programs to align with newly revamped support and service programs for the enterprise solutions.
A large part of this work was carefully orchestrated communications shared globally and striving to overhaul all communication and marketing vehicles to align with the new Microsoft Dynamics brand.
With the launch of the new program came the development of learning plans to guide training and certification needs among customers and partners. Further, materials were introduced and retooled to more closely align to the corporate Microsoft Learning platform. The overall success of the work on this project was astounding with significant increases in participation and user interaction driven by a strong online community interface.
Certification Welcome Kit
As part of the roll out of the new certification program for Microsoft Dynamics, we created a welcome kit for newly certified partners and customers. These welcome kits included the actual certificate, the certificate holder, welcome letter and special envelope for mailing. Overall it creates a cohesive and sharp presentation for any newly certified partner or customer who gets this package in the mail.
Hit Your Mark Fold Out Brochure
This piece was created for the North America Training and Certification team for the Microsoft Dynamics product line. The piece showcases the various avenues towards partner certification and encourages the recipient to follow the chart and hit their mark and get certified.
Growth and Opportunity Materials
Growth and Opportunity became the tagline for the new training and certification program that was rolled out to support to Microsoft Dynamics product lines. The pieces pictured below are a standard two sided flyer that was used at trade shows and in giveaway packages, A postcard promotional flyer for promoting a speaking event at Convergence and a booklet explaining the new training and certification opportunities for the product line.
